Paul Sztorc планує серпневий хардфорк Bitcoin «eCash»
Bitcoin developer Paul Sztorc announced a new hardfork called eCash, expected to launch in August, sparking mixed reactions within the Bitcoin community. eCash will allow Bitcoin holders to exchange BTC for eCash at a 1:1 ratio. It will nearly replicate the Bitcoin Core client and use the same SHA-256 hashing algorithm but with reduced mining difficulty to enhance block production accessibility. The new chain will feature seven scalable Level 2 networks for improved transaction capacity and privacy. Controversially, Sztorc plans to reassign part of the 1.1 million BTC from Satoshi Nakamoto to early investors, which has drawn criticism from Bitcoin supporters.
