Key cryptocurrencies like Ethereum (ETH), XRP, and Solana (SOL) saw gains of 3% or more. Oil prices increased, with West Texas Intermediate reaching $57.24 per barrel and Brent hitting $60.81. Asian stock markets were sluggish due to year-end holidays, except for South Korea’s KOSPI, which rose 1.7% driven by chipmaker stocks. Recent attacks between Russia and Ukraine have dampened peace discussions, prolonging the ongoing conflict and its global inflationary impact.
