Bitcoin (BTC) is currently in the deep phase of a bear market, according to K.K. Zheng, founder of ZX Squared Capital. He predicts a further price drop of about 30% by 2026, citing a “four-year cycle” as a catalyst. After reaching over $126,000 last October, Bitcoin’s price has now halved to around $68,000. The four-year cycle relates to the programmed reduction in Bitcoin mining rewards, which historically leads to price peaks followed by bear markets. Zheng warns that the prevailing investor psychology reinforces this cycle, making Bitcoin more speculative than a stable asset like gold.
