Bitcoin (BTC) rose above $64,000 in early Tuesday trading, tracking a broader recovery in risk assets after recent turbulence. Trading around $64,200, Bitcoin remained down 0.75% in the last 24 hours but bounced back from a low of $62,500. Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) also reduced earlier losses. The close connection between crypto and tech stocks was evident as the iShares Software Sector ETF (IGV) increased by 1.7%. Traditional safe havens weakened, with gold falling 1.5% and crude oil down 0.5%. The Nasdaq 100 rose 1.1%, and several Bitcoin mining companies saw gains of 6%-10%.
