Strategy, specializing in Bitcoin (BTC), expanded its holdings after accumulating 10,645 BTC worth approximately $980.3 million from December 8-14. This marks its second consecutive week of buying nearly $1 billion in BTC, following a previous acquisition of 10,624 BTC. The Virginia-based firm now holds 671,268 BTC, purchased for $50.33 billion. Recent acquisitions were funded mainly through selling shares, raising over $888 million. Despite aggressive accumulation, the company faces challenges, including a potential MSCI exclusion due to its substantial digital assets. Analysts warn this could lead to significant capital outflows. Bitcoin currently trades around $86,000, down 3.5% over the past week.
