CleanSpark підписує договір про оренду дата-центру на 6,6 мільярда доларів, оскільки майнер біткойнів орієнтується на обчислення
CleanSpark, a Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin mining firm, announced a 20-year infrastructure lease with a global tech company in Sandersville, Georgia, on July 14. This marks a significant shift from Bitcoin mining to high-performance computing for hyper-scale clients. The deal encompasses a data center infrastructure supporting 175 megawatts and is expected to generate $6.6 billion in initial revenue, potentially increasing to $11.6 billion with contract extensions. CleanSpark plans to repurpose some mining power for AI data centers. While shares initially rose over 20%, they later fell 9% in response to mixed investor reactions.
