Fidelity, the investment giant, has endorsed the latest version of the long-awaited Clarity Act, urging the Senate to pass the bill that regulates the crypto market. The revamped legislation prohibits officials and their families from issuing or promoting cryptocurrencies, addressing concerns from critics. Fidelity, managing about $7 trillion in assets, supports the bill to enhance investor confidence and solidify the U.S.’s leadership in digital markets. Alongside Fidelity, groups like the Crypto Council for Innovation and Blockchain Association have also backed the bill. Despite support, there has been pushback from banking executives regarding stablecoin profit concerns.
