The Arkansas Securities Department warned consumers that Bitcoin Depot Operating LLC has halted operations and filed for bankruptcy in Texas, leading to the closure of its kiosks nationwide. Consumers can file claims for unrefunded money, with 19 claimants owed a total of $33,312. Arkansas adopted Law 557 in 2025 to regulate cryptocurrency kiosks and protect residents from fraud. Affected individuals can reach out to the restructuring hotline or the Arkansas Securities Department for assistance.
